ÖVEDS POLO CLUB
We are a polo club in the south of Sweden that loves to have fun and play polo together with focus on horsemanship.
THE CLUB
We have a smaller polo field at the club, additionally we have an outdoor arena and wooden horse to practice your hitting skills. We also have a gallop loop and endless riding/hiking out opportunities.
Öveds Polo Club is a small farm polo club that is family oriented where everyone is welcome.
The Polo club is located close to Öveds Kloster, 7km outside of Sjöbo.
TRY OUT POLO
We provide POLO INTRO for anyone that like to try out this fun sport. You don't need any riding or polo experience to participate on a polo intro, and we hand tail the intro depending on your experience.
The polo intro could be done for one person or up to a group of maximum 4.
A polo intro is about 1.5 hours long, it cost 1500kr per person.
WHO CAN PLAY POLO
At Öveds Polo Club we try to make polo available for everyone, but we are not a riding school, so you need to have riding experience or adapt your riding experience prior to play polo as a member at the club.
THE POLO PONIES
Because we have high focus and knowledge on horsemanship, we have well trained and safe polo ponies for the polo intros.
THE TRAINERS
The friendly and helpful trainers at the club will enable your polo development.
